Jeffrey and Justin Philbrick, along
with their highly compassionate staff, continue to offer a strong
continuum of professional long-term care services to Rockingham
County, the surrounding communities and beyond. The Philbricks'
late parents, Russell and Karen, established the feeling of the
Colonial Poplin Nursing Home with an uncompromised understanding
of the need for a comfortable and caring atmosphere. |

This philosophy was then instilled
throughout the hallways of Poplin Way Assisted Living in 2002.
Adorned with New England inspired paintings, crafts and knick-knacks
the hallways and mantles display charming décor. Residents
and families feel like they are stepping into a private home. |

Buddy and Tyeson have warmed the
hearts of many who have passed through our doors. Both Boxers,
their energy and phenomenal personalities enrich the daily lives
of our residents. And sure not to go unnoticed are the two sets
of parakeets that fill the entryway with their playful song.
Every day our residents see familiar faces, people they know
by name, caring for them. In turn, those who provide the care
maintain relationships with the residents that are not only personal,
but impressionable. |

With complete Medicare certification
and contracts with Martins Point and Anthem Blue Cross
and Blue Shield, Colonial Poplin serves as a rehabilitation facility
in addition to providing long term care services. For those residents
who not only require long term care but also need financial assistance,
Colonial Poplin is fully certified under New Hampshire's Medicaid
program. Semi-private respite stays are also available as a service
to families who require short term placement.
Poplin Way boasts eighteen spacious
studio and one bedroom apartments, each with its own private
bath and kitchenette. Residents furnish and decorate their rooms
for comfort and have full access to a gracious country kitchen,
sun porch and activities room. Independence is encouraged yet
the specific needs of each resident are identified and exceeded
by the licensed staff.
Though the continuum of long
term care options is comprehensive, Colonial Poplin and Poplin
Way ensure the privacy and respect of every resident in a very
home-like setting. There are so many characteristics that set
these facilities apart from all of the others. Jeffrey and Justin
invite you to come and see what family owned and operated truly
means.
