Poplin Way Assisted Living Goes
Deficiency Free
Co-owners Jeffrey and Justin
Philbrick extend their congratulations to Administrator Natalie
Gaudet and her entire dedicated staff for achieving a deficiency
free relicensure survey for 2007-2008. This marks the fifth consecutive
perfect survey which dates back to the opening of Poplin Way
in 2002.
Each year, State surveyors conduct
unannounced inspections of all assisted living communities in
New Hampshire. In great detail they review resident charts and
documentation, medication records and all employee personnel
files. The State surveyors also interview both residents and
staff to hear their opinions about living in and working for,
respectively, the assisted living community. With stringent new
regulations which were incorporated in 2007, very few homes achieve
the honor of being Deficiency-Free. To recognize this status,
the State allows the home to be exempt from the following year's
survey process.
When interviewed by the State
surveyor, residents unanimously agreed that Poplin Way is a wonderful
place in which to live and call home.
