Dash and Dine

The Colonial Poplin dining room was the setting of a lavish display of wine, cheeses, fruits and breads. Once again Food Service Director, Linda Cermely, astounded the crowd at Colonial Poplin, this time catering to case workers from six different hospitals and rehabilitation clinics from local areas. The purpose of the evening was to bring in case workers and have them tour the Fremont facilities firsthand in order to appreciate what Colonial Poplin and Poplin Way are all about. They then can explain to potential rehabilitation residents their own personal accounts of the facilities.   Dash and Dine Photo

Dash and Dine Photo   As a thank you for their support, each case worker received a take-home dinner for four (Choice of Tuscan Chicken Marsala, Poplin's Ultimate Meat Loaf with Fresh Tomato Relish or Four Cheese Fettuccine Alfredo with Brocolli) accompanied by a fresh bread baguette and a paired bottle of wine chosen by owner, Justin Philbrick.

Poplin Way Administrator Natalie Gaudet brought the entire evening together with the assistance of Clinical Liaison Valerie Mitchell who broadcasted the invitations to the different facilities. Also present at the Dash and Dine event were co owners Jeff and Justin Philbrick, Director of Nurses Liz Simes, Director of Therapy Annette Denise, Activities Director Jane Sweeney, Social Services Director Jen Donovan, Director of Environmental Services Diane Page, MDS Nurse Deanna Linton and of course house mascot Buddy.

Special thanks go out to the case workers of Exeter Hospital, Portsmouth Hospital, Whittier Rehabilitation, Parkland Medical, Elliot Hospital and Northeast Rehab who attended this fine evening on Wednesday, August 27th.
