"Thank you is never enough.
It is appropriate, however, for me to extend my gratitude to
the wonderful staff of Colonial Poplin Nursing Home and Poplin
Way Assisted Living. I have often said that it feels as though
I have 50 siblings right around the corner. It is because of
your caring, protection and affection for my father that he felt
at home here. Know that he loved you all and felt secure in your
care. It would take volumes to honor you individually; suffice
it to say that each of you possesses a unique gift that she/
he brings to this place every day. Because of you, sons and daughters
such as Alan and I can placed our loved ones inside these walls
with confidence. May God richly bless each of you."
- Nancy L. ( Daughter of the
late Warriner "Pete" Wade)

"This was the place...
the only place, that we would ever have wanted Mother to be.
Jeffrey and Justin, your staff is absolutely amazing and we thank
you all for making us feel 'at home' "

"I want to take this
opportunity to express my thanks and appreciation for the excellent
care and attention that my mother has been and is now receiving.
All of the staff does a wonderful job of providing mother with
the attention and care that she demands. She is not always easy
to get along with and the nurses and other staff do a great job
keeping her content. Please convey my sincere thanks to all personnel
at Colonial Poplin for such excellent treatment and a job well
done. Since I live a good distance away, it is comforting to
know that Mom is in good hands with people that care."

"On behalf of my sons
and daughters-in-law, I wish to thank you for the wonderful care
you gave my husband. From the great therapy, to the nursing and
aide help I knew he was in great hands! Even maintenance helped
by getting him a footstool and TV.
Thanks again. You have a very
cheerful home. It's a comfort to have your loved one there."

"My father and I appreciate
all you have done to place him in such a lovely environment he
can now call home. You treat the residents at Poplin Way with
such warmth and friendliness, and I want you to know that it
means so much to know that my father will be treated as family."

who took part in Dad's care during his final days. The care and

"If I ever have to go
to a nursing facility, it will certainly be Colonial Poplin.
When you enter you just know you'd be happy and comfortable here.
It is clean, neat and has a special country charm. The entire
facility is awesome."

"Words cannot express
how deeply grateful we are for the care you provided our mother.
She felt as though you were all a part of her family, something
that brought her great comfort."
"You made us always feel
like were coming into our Mother's home rather than an
institution and that we could come to you with any problem, which
was handled promptly and professionally. Your facility, and especially
the Staff, deserves the highest commendation."
"This world would be
a much better place if all aging people could reside in a facility
such as yours."

"We would like to express
our sincere thanks to you for participating in our Ellis School
9th grade, fifth annual Job Shadow Day. Your willingness to either
try something that you may not have done before or your having
our 8th graders back again, is commendable. Job shadowing is
an academically motivating educational activity dedicated to
giving students an opportunity to look at the world of work and
how skills they are learning in school relate to the workplace.
Thank you for helping us to
accomplish the goal of providing students with the link between
school and the world of work. We look forward to a continued
relationship with you in coming years."
